THE FRAMEWORK OF ‘MILLENNIAL INDIA’

At the multidisciplinary workshop on youth and new media turn in politics and policy organized by the Centre for Social Sciences and Humanities (CSH) and Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi in New Delhi, Sahana Udupa was invited to give special concluding remarks. Describing the framework of “Millennial India” developed with Shriram Venkatraman and Aasim Khan, she suggested that the new conditions of communication enabled by digital media have significantly reshaped the field of politics in contemporary India.
