In a joint paper, Edward Anderson and Sahana Udupa will explore ways in which social media and other online spaces have transformed the homeland-diaspora relationship: do these innovations reflect completely new dynamics, or simply existing relations taking new forms? The paper will be presented at the international workshop, “Shaping Migrant and Mobile Worlds”, organized by National University of Singapore.
